The holidays are here! For me, that means a 2 week trip to Europe with stops including: Germany, Amsterdam and Paris!
If you didn’t know, I was born in Trier, Germany. My dad was in the air force so we were out there for 6 years! I can’t wait to reconnect with family on the German side and introduce them to Bert. It’ll be Bert’s first time to Europe! I cannot wait for him to see where I’m from and to learn the language….again (he took two years of German in college haha)
I’m all packed and can’t wait to share it with you all. I’ve only packed a carry-on and am splitting a checked bag with Bert. Minimal, even during the winter with bulky clothing. This was definitely a challenge for me but somehow I managed and got it done.
